Lenten Mission on the Eucharist
February 26 @ 7:00 pm - February 28 @ 8:30 pm
As we continue the National Eucharistic Revival, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church is excited to invite you to a Lenten Mission focused on the Eucharist. This special event will feature guest speaker Monsignor Stephen Bosso. Monsignor Bosso is a renowned theologian who has also served as a rector, academic Dean, and professor at St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach for many years. He also taught at Notre Dame University.
The Eucharist holds a central place in Catholic belief and practice. Catholics believe that during the Eucharist prayer, the bread and wine undergo a transformation known as transubstantiation, becoming the actual Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.
During the Lenten Mission, Monsignor Bosso will delve deeper into the significance of the Eucharist and why it is considered the heart of Catholic belief.
We encourage you to mark your calendars for this special event, which will take place in the church from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, February 26th through Wednesday, February 28th, 2024.
May God’s blessings be with you all.
