Respect Life . . .

It is the goal of this ministry to protect and foster respect for life and to offer practical and spiritual support in any way we can for those in search of it. We meet on the first Monday of the month at 7:00PM. We always welcome new members.  For further information, please call the parish office.

Prayer to Protect Life ….

Loving God, I thank you for the gift of life you gave me and continue to give me and to all of us. Merciful God, I ask your pardon and forgiveness for my own failure and the failure of all people to respect and foster all forms of life. Gracious God, I pray that with your grace, I and all people will reverence, protect, and promote all life and that we will be especially sensitive to the life of the unborn, the abused, neglected, disabled and the elderly. I pray, too, that all who make decisions about life in any form will do so with wisdom, love and courage. Living God, I praise and glorify you as Father, Source of all life, as Son, Savior of our lives and as Spirit, Sanctifier of our lives.

Amen.

THE CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE – DECEMBER 2020

On the weekends of December 12/13 and December 19/20, the Giving Tree will be located in the Church vestibule.  On the tree, there will be ornament tags with much needed items for Birthline/Lifeline Pregnancy Care Centers.  Birthline/Lifeline is an organization supported by Catholic Charities that helps women who need testing, ultrasounds, counseling, medical referrals and material assistance for their babies. 

If you are able to help, please take an ornament tag or to remain “contact free” during Covid 19, just refer to the list below for the items that are most needed.  This year Birthline/Lifeline does not need any diapers or girls clothes.  Please bring back your UNWRAPPED GIFT to the Church or parish office by December 30^th.  A collection box will be located in the Church vestibule on both weekends.  The need is great ….. thank you for your support!

THE ITEMS MOST NEEDED BY BIRTHLINE/LIFELINE ARE AS FOLLOWS:   Baby Bottles (not Playtex); Baby Shampoo and Baby Wash (small & medium sizes); Baby Towels; Baby Washcloths; Baby Wipes; Boy Clothes (Newborn – Size 3T); Convertible Car Seats; Pack-N-Play; Rattles; Teething Rings and Receiving Blankets.
